Coaching Staff

 Coach Duncan Iannucci (Coach Nooch) has been coaching for over 18 years and is in his 1st year as Head Coach at Plano East. Previously Coach Iannucci was Coach at Hillcrest High School where he coached the girls wrestling team to state dual finishes of 15th, 11th, and 10th place. Also at the state duals, he coached the boys wrestling team to 9th, 9th, and 13th place. Coach Iannucci was picked as one of a select few to coach for the Texas National Team 6X’s. He has coached more than 15 wrestlers who have or who are competing in college. Coach Iannucci has coached 149 All-District wrestlers 36 District Champions, 65 Region Qualifiers, 41 All-Region wrestlers, 6 Region Champions, 30 State Qualifiers, 8 All-state wrestlers, 1 state runner-up, 1 All-American.  

 Coach Greg Dean has joined Coach Iannucci to coach at Level-Up Wrestling Club. Previously Coach Dean wrestled in Alaska and Arkansas where he was a State Runner-Up in both states. While living in Arkansas Coach Dean made the Arkansas National Team. His senior year he was 3rd in the State of Texas. Coach Dean got All-American Honors at Adidas Nationals. Coach Dean wrestled at University of Saint Mary’s Leavenworth Kansas for 1 year.  

 Coach Jaylen James has joined Coach Iannucci to coach at Level-Up Wrestling Club. Previously Coach James wrestled in both Illinois and Tennessee where he was a 2X Regional Champ and 1X State Placer. Coach James is an experienced wrestler who prides himself on developing young wrestlers for the challenges they will face both on and off the mat. 

 Coach Hector Quezada has joined Coach Iannucci to coach at Level-Up Wrestling Club. Previously Coach Quezada wrestled at Hillcrest under Coach Iannucci where he was a 2X District Runner-up. Coach Quezada brings an aggressive style of wrestling and unrelenting energy to our club.
